My daily routine includes cleansing w/crema saponetta, toning w/effeto imediatio, Fluido Protettivo eye cream, CuraForte moisture intensifier,Siero Intensivo Serum, and Cura Di Vita Protettivo. I've been hearing that all of this is not necessary.
Your thoughts?
Leonor,
My name is Gabriel and I am a licensed Esthetician in New York. I do facial events for Borghese at Lord and Taylor and have been using their products for nearly 4 years. You use many of my favorites!
In regards to your question; yes, there can be such a thing as too much moisturizing. However, it really depends on your skin type. If you have very dry skin, extra moisturizing can be an essential! Do you feel your skin looks good and absorbs all the products? If you feel they are working and you are seeing the results you want, I would continue. Now, if you want to tone it down, here is what I suggest:
1. Continue cleansing with Crema Saponetta AM/PM
2. Follow with Effeto Immediato AM/PM
3. Apply the CuraForte all over the face and tap a little bit around the eyes.
4. Follow with the Advanced Spa Lift for Eyes.
5. Finish with the Cura Di Vita.
Follow this exact same routine in the evening, but substitute the CuraForte with the Siero Intensivo. The CuraForte is a perfect prep step in your morning routine before the Cura Di Vita. This will help lock in hydration and lift dull surface cells. The Siero Intensivo will penetrate deeply into your skin over night, revitalizing the skin and putting the anti-oxidants in the formula to work. This is a good regimen and should give you beautiful results! Also, make sure to use the Fango mud at least once a week for an intensive deep cleansing and exfoliation! Hope this helps!
Thank you for the feedback Gabriel. My skin actually feels great, but I'd heard that you shouldn't over moisturize, so I thought I'd ask the 'experts" :0)..Happy Holidays!
